PMW904 is a transport medium used to preserve and transport samples collected with medical swabs. To prevent contamination from bacteria or fungi, the medium contains added antibiotics and is manufactured in a cleanroom environment. A 0.2 µm sterilizing filter is also used during production to further minimize the risk of microbial contamination. The medium supports both ambient and refrigerated transport, and allows for long-term storage under frozen conditions. It is compatible with most medical swabs available on the market and is made from transparent material, enabling visual inspection for potential contamination before use.
